Yes, absolutely! We recommend hand washing with mild detergent or soap. Avoid using strong chlorine-based cleaners. Try not to soak the natural leather handles, as we can’t predict how they will react to warm water.
The sails themselves are cleaned and washed before sewing, so water and gentle detergent won’t harm them.
Don’t worry about the ropes – they’re genuine sailing ropes, resistant to water, UV rays, mold, and salt.
After washing, simply hang the bag to air dry – sails love the wind.
Generally, yes. Remember, though, that the sails are not new – some have lost part of their original waterproof coating after years on the sea, in the sun and wind.
They still perform great, and the double-stitched layers of sailcloth protect against rain and splashes.
After long exposure to water, they may eventually let some moisture through.
So yes – the bags are water-resistant, but not fully waterproof.
Not at all! These are the sails’ original colors.
They’ve truly sailed across seas, oceans, and lakes – we clean them and let their authentic hues shine again.
Yes! It’s a perfect shopper for your laptop, books, or daily essentials. Ideal for work, travel, or university.
As much as you can lift! And as much as your shoulder can handle.
For safety, we recommend up to 3 kilograms, but our tests in Japan have shown they can handle much more.
Right in the heart of Greater Poland – in Poznań.
That’s where we design, sew, and ship every single bag.
We’re a Polish brand. We sew locally. We think globally.
Made in Poland!
Of course! We’d love that.

Most sails are made from polyester fabric called Dacron – a durable, weather-resistant material widely used in recreational sailing.
That’s the perfect base for every Seashopper bag.
In sport or regatta sailing, high-tech materials like Kevlar, Dyneema, or carbon fiber are also used – lighter and stiffer, but harder to repurpose after years of use.
Colorful sails are usually spinnakers or gennakers – large, balloon-like sails used in light winds. They’re made from lightweight nylon fabrics that add those vivid colors to the sea.
In our workshop, we use both Dacron and nylon sails, combining them into one unique bag – two sails in one.
Yes! Every sail we use is carefully inspected.
We only select those with strong, intact fibers – the rest we recycle or reject.
Sure! At fairs and events, customers often mix and match their favorite bag-pouch sets, but you can also order an extra pouch separately.
When shopping online, just write a note at checkout specifying the color you’d like.
We’ll match it with what’s available from our current collection of recycled sails.
